Michael Maricle
West Coast recording artist Michael Maricle began creating music at the age of four when he first sat down to play the piano. He was born in Los Angeles in 1969 and grew up on the Central Coast of California, where he studied classical piano and cello. He went on to study Music Composition at UC Santa Barbara College of Creative Studies.
In 2001 Michael moved to Seattle and began to focus on a solo career as a recording artist. He spent about four years fine tuning his sound, as well as perfecting the art of music production. During this time he released four self produced CDs - "Dreamelodia", "Another Glowing Day", "Atlantis" and "Shift".
In 2005 Michael studied with world-renowned sound healer Tom Kenyon. In the same year he released “Breakthrough”, a Hemi-Sync release with the Monroe Institute, a CD designed to enhance creativity, learning and focus.
2009 is proving to be a prolific year for Michael. He released "Reflections" as a reintroduction to the music of Michael Maricle. His new album "French Press" will be released in early July. And that's not all!! Michael is nearing completion on another album, an electro-acoustic album with vocals. This one is sure to be a pleasant surprise!!!
