Spire

Jake Perrine / DJ Spire (Oracle Gatherings) began composing electronic music in 1984 on an Apple II+, and has been making computer based music ever since. He has released three CDs of his music under the name "Spire", which are available online at CDBaby.com, iTunes and on his website. In addition to DJing, Jake scores for film and remixes, including a remix for Sir Mix-a-lot, and a winning score for Best Animated Short at South by Southwest in 2002. Jake is also a mastering engineer at RFI/CD in Seattle, and teaches audio production at The Art Institute of Seattle and Cornish College of the Arts, and physical theatre at Freehold Theatre Lab. Jake is proud to have worked on a majority of the Oracle Gatherings since the very beginning in a multitude of capacities..
